Music Generation Laois

Music Generation Laois is LOETB’s performance music education programme, based in Laois Music Centre, Church Avenue, Portlaoise.

A range of classes are available for children, young people and adults in Laois Music Centre including rock, pop, brass, traditional music, choirs, a programme for children, young people and adults with special needs.

An accredited music programme, QQI level 5 and QQI level 6 is available on a full-time or part-time basis, in partnership with LOETB Portlaoise Further Education and Training Centre.

An instrument bank is available for students to access (instrument loan scheme).

Schools, after-school settings, youth organisations and community groups can partner with Music Generation Laois, to bring a music programme into their organisation, group or school.
