Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) is the patron of nine Post-Primary Schools, including one school which provides education through the medium of Irish and is joint trustee with five Community Schools. Our Further Education and Training service provides a wide range of quality learning opportunities for adults throughout Laois and Offaly. We are available to provide the following supports:

• Support access to LOETB post primary schools.
• English Language assessment, support and programmes.
• Programmes for adults of all ages from unaccredited to level 6 across many skills areas relevant to local job opportunities.
• Adult Career Guidance including support with application for recognition of foreign qualifications (NAIRC).
• Family learning programmes.
• Adult Literacy programmes.
• Community Education programmes that are based in local communities and promote lifelong learning by supporting active age, families and people with disabilities.
• Programmes and supports for early school leavers.
