Irish Government
A Temporary Protection Directive has been activated by the European Union (EU) to provide immediate protection in EU countries for people displaced by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This includes Ireland and the Government of Ireland has said “Ireland is resolute in our solidarity and support for Ukraine and we are honouring our commitment to help people who have been displaced by this horrendous war”.
