This course is aimed at individuals who have introductory knowledge of computers but want to deepen their understanding of different computer applications including word processing, email and internet. This course is suitable for individuals looking to improve their digital and administrative skills.
On successful completion of this course learners should be able to
- Know and understand key elements of information technology.
- Edit word documents including text, bullets, images and page alignment.
- Send, receive and manage an email account effectively.
- Use the internet for effective research purposes.
- Understand the importance of file management

14 weeks Tuesday evening 6.30 to 9.30pm
Entry Requirements
Junior Certificate or equivalent. If learners do not have Junior Certificate or equivalent, they will have to do an assessment. Individuals should be employed full time, part time or self-employed.
