LOETB's Human Resources Department provides a comprehensive service to support our schools, centres and staff. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality in customer service ensuring quality, timeliness and consistency of our service is first class.
Our aim is to have best practice HR structures, policies and procedures which underpin the establishment and operation of LOETB as a professional organisation which adds value to customer services, staff morale and motivation.
Our organisation is built around a partnership model with staff, their representative organisations and other stakeholders. We embrace continuous improvement and support change and innovation.

  • Sick Leave
  • Special Leave, including Force Majeure, Compassionate Leave
  • CPD and Training
  • Teacher Allocation and Utilisation
  • Superannuation and Pensions, Pension Returns
  • IR Issues
  • Grievance Procedures and Legal Matters
  • Garda Vetting – Staff, PLC students/trainees, Volunteers and staff on Work Experience
