Teachers from the ELC Department completed an Erasmus+ Job Shadowing placement in Italy, gaining valuable insight into the early years education practices there. Spending time at the Audiophonetic School in Brescia, they had the opportunity to meet with managers, staff and children of various early years centres to learn about the ethos of the centres and to discuss practices which promote the holistic development of children.<\/p>\n
The placement provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and share best practice wit European colleagues. It provided networking opportunities which will be used to plan a Student Placement Erasmus + trip (ELC Department) to Brescia in May 2026.<\/p>\n
