Edenderry FET Centre offer a wide range of part-time unaccredited and accredited courses at QQI Level 1- 5. 

The goal of our centre is to offer courses that suit the demand of the local area and help you succeed in your goal of pursuing education. 

Youthreach Edenderry

Youthreach Edenderry provides full time education for early school leavers aged between 15-20 years. We provide QQI accreditation at Levels 3 and 4 on the National Framework of Qualifications and a wide range of additional courses including: Gaisce, Safe Food, Healthy Food Made Easy, Safe Pass, Manual Handling and First Aid Training.

Students may receive a training allowance for attending Youthreach.

Adult Literacy Classes 

We offer Esol classes levels 1-4 to help a students learn English and improve their skills within the centre. Classes include Reading and Writing, Technology, Word Processing, Listening and Speaking, Spelling and Grammar and Computer Skills. 

We also offer classes that include working with Spreadsheets, Applications of Numbers and Introduction to climate change. 

QQI Level 5 courses: 

Within Edenderry we offer courses that help people who are balancing employment who also wish to return to education. 

We offer QQI level five in Early Learning and Care, this course is a full-time course in the centre and applicants can qualify for the SUSI grant. 

We offer a Level 5 in Office Skills and Level 5 in Healthcare awards part time over two years. Learners complete four modules in year one and another four modules in year two. 

Community Education 

Within Edenderry we also offer community education classes that are 6-week programmes unaccredited to help you return to education and can lead on to participation in accredited courses.
