This course equips learners with qualification required to work in Early Years Education or in crèche/playgroup settings. There is the option of doing stand-alone modules or completing all eight modules to work towards a major award in Early Childhood Care and Education. To achieve the overall major award learners must complete 120 hours of placement in a registered childcare setting

Duration

Each module 6:30-9:30pm Tuesday & Wednesday night

Enrolment Criteria

Leaving Certificate or equivalent

If learners do not have leaving certificate or equivalent, they will have to do an assessment

Learners need to secure work experience in a registered childcare setting.
